Valentine’s Day is approaching fast!  And this year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday!  Most people aren’t like myself.  I’ve had dinner reservations set since January 25th.  Most, if not all, restaurants will have prix fixe menus.  I have provided a few options for a darling Valentine’s Day dinner:

MAX’s Wine Dive will be offering a Valentine’s Day special of a delicious three-course dinner at the Midtown’s popular wine-and-dine destination.  For $60 per person, couples can look into each other’s eyes while enjoying a romantic prix fixe menu of gourmet comfort foods which includes stuffed peppers, chicken fried lobster tail, New York strip steak, and a scrumptious slice of red velvet cake for two.  Each couple will also receive two glasses of their choice of Prodige, Argam Temp, or Argam Verdejo.  MAX’S Wine Dive will have this romantic dinner for two from 3 p.m. to midnight.  For reservations, call 404.249.0445.

ValentinesDayRedThemedDinn__MickoPhoto_207993_Makini_52_low-640x427 Ocean Prime is accepting reservations, and their prix fixe menu will be featuring the following:  8 ounces of filet mignon,  buttermilk fried oysters, lyonnaise potatoes, smoked bacon spinach, béarnaise dark chocolate raspberry truffle, chambord coulis, chocolate tuille, watermelon martini, Grey Goose with watermelon juice, lime, and mint syrup.  Reservations can be made by calling404.846.0505.

You will fall head over heels at Livingston Restaurant & Bar in Midtown.  Their lovely dining backdrop will be perfect for romantic love birds. You will thoroughly enjoy a skillfully created three-course meal from Chef Michael Semancik.  On Friday, February 13th and Saturday, February 14th, love birds can expect a menu of Valentine’s Day-inspired dishes.  On Saturday night, the same menu will be offered as Friday, but at a set price of $50 per person.  That price does not include tax and gratuity.  Call 404.897.5000 to make a reservation.  Hurry!  Space is limited.

Wahoo! Grill has the romantic atmosphere and a delicious menu that diners crave.  It will definitely make the night as special as the person they are sharing it with.  This Valentine’s Day, guests will be able to indulge in a four-course, prix fixe menu including foie gras medallions with pretzel bread and fig jam, crab bisque, black tie seafood ravioli with seared petit lobster tails and saffron cream and butterscotch pot de crème with butterscotch custard, hazelnut whipped cream and maldon sea salt.  In addition to the lavish menu, the romantic atmosphere and first-rate service at Wahoo! Grill is A+.

Looking for a place to celebrate Valentine’s Day with that special someone that isn’t overpriced and fits your budget? Varuni Napoli has put together a special menu just for you and yours.  For $60, Luca’s Amore Mio Valentine’s Day menu for two includes a bottle of Prosecco with two hibiscus flowers to start the night off right.  Couples can then choose to share either one pizza from the regular menu or a pizza special of the day.  To end the evening on a sweet note, enjoy two, house-made Nutella cannoli.  If you’re not into making reservations, no worries!  You can walk into Varuni Napoli on Valentine’s Day without reservations.

Treat your honey to a romantic dinner with a view at Polaris on Friday, February 13th, or Saturday, February 14th.  In addition to the regular a la carte menu, Polaris will offer a special prix fixe menu for $55 per person.  There will be mouthwatering items such as the heirloom baby beet salad, lobster cocktail, sea salt-infused filet mignon, and “strawberries and champagne” dessert.  You can choose from optional wine pairings for $25 per person or Valentine’s Day-themed cocktails like “Old Fashioned Potion” and “Queen of Hearts”.  Limited reservations are available atPolaris@hyatt.com, or you can call 404.460.6425.

Love means never having to share your shake.  And if you don’t have a special someone,  but more of a friend-type, or if you’re just getting to know someone this Valentine’s Day, Shake Shack is offering a special of buy one shake, get one free!  Not only is this a good deal, it’s a beautiful and tasteful thing that you and your date can both slurp on something sweet together, but yet, separately. Choose from handspun vanilla, chocolate, caramel, black and white, strawberry, peanut butter, or coffee.
