11 Beautiful Patios to Dine & Drink On This Spring

Outdoor dining in Atlanta hits differently in the spring. The weather is finally cooperative, the city is alive, and there is nothing better than finding a table under open sky with good food in front of you and no reason to rush. I have spent years seeking out the patios worth making a reservation for — the ones where the outdoor experience is as intentional as the food.

Atlanta’s outdoor dining scene ranges from rooftop perches with skyline views to lush garden terraces that feel like a world apart from the city. The best patios have one thing in common: they are designed for the guest, not just checked as a box. Thoughtful lighting, comfortable seating, and a drink menu that matches the mood of the evening make the difference between a patio that is fine and one you return to every season.

Whether you are planning a spring brunch, a warm-weather date night, or a casual afternoon with friends, this list is your guide. These are the Atlanta patios that have earned a permanent spot in my dining rotation — and more than a few of them have hosted Supper Club evenings worth remembering.

  1. Canoe Vinings Tucked away enough to feel secluded yet conveniently located in Vinings is none other than Canoe, a premier dining destination located along the Chattahoochee and perfect for any and all special occasions—or, a drink by the river just because.
