Tablescape & Seasonal Design
Because this dinner marked the transition from summer to fall, I wanted the table to reflect that shift — a graceful welcome to the new season. I styled the tablescape with rich, autumnal florals and elegant tableware I discovered at a local estate sale — each piece full of history and character. The warm fall palette, infused with burnt orange, sage, and soft gold, created a sense of abundance and intimacy. It was the perfect backdrop for an evening that celebrated connection, flavor, and the beauty of seasonal change.

Guests were welcomed with a Charcuterie Board and Kitty Dare’s famous Fried Olives, paired with Berlucchi Franciacorta Brut Rosé — a sparkling introduction that encouraged conversation and instantly set the tone for connection.

A Night to Remember Menu
Course One
A trio of Labneh, Tunisi, and Koobideh Kabob offered a beautifully balanced start — creamy, spiced, and aromatic. The crisp Nivarius White Tempranillo added brightness and depth, complementing each bite with elegant restraint.

Course Two
The table shifted to freshness with a Classic Caesar and Sicilian Fennel & Orange Salad — light, citrus-forward, and perfectly timed. Paired with Ashes & Diamonds Rosa No.3, this course embodied Mediterranean simplicity and refinement.

- Gnocchi in a velvety sauce that melted on the palate
- Shrimp Bucatini, rich with coastal spice and warmth
- Berbere Chicken served with Watermelon Mint & Feta Salad and Cherry Tomato Salsa
- Citrus Salmon with Pearl Couscous and Lemon & Dill Yogurt Sauce
Each dish was intentionally paired with Irdabama Samarghandi Drood Winery — a robust, expressive wine that stood beautifully alongside the menu’s layered flavors.
Course Four
We closed the evening with a silky White Chocolate Cheesecake, a sweet finale that mirrored the balance of the night — indulgent yet light, luxurious yet grounded.
