Delicious Lemonade Prosecco Punch
Anyone else excited that finally warmer weather is on the horizon? One of my favorite things about this time of year of course is the deliciously refreshing summer cocktails! While I am not a HUGE fan of our Southern heat and humidity (AT ALL), I am a huge fan of backyard gathering with friends and family and enjoying a delicious and refreshing cocktail. Enter the perfect summertime cocktail: The Delicious Lemonade Prosecco Punch! Keep reading to make this refreshing cocktail ASAP!
Moreover, a punch like this earns its keep because it does the work for you. You stir it once, set it on the table, and let everyone help themselves while you actually talk to your guests — the very same reason I lean on a champagne bar or a holiday mimosa bar when the guest list grows.
In particular, this is a warm-weather pour. It belongs beside a watermelon summer board on a long afternoon, or next to a spring charcuterie board when the first real sunshine arrives and nobody wants to come inside.
DRINK TIPS + ALTERNATIVE VERSIONS
- Want a sweeter version ? This pairs perfect with pineapple – just remove the lemonade and in its place put pineapple juice.
- Want an even more summertime version? Grab some watermelon! Grab a bit of watermelon juice and fresh cubes of watermelon- voila – the perfect summertime cocktail.
- Non-alcoholic needed? Instead of Prosecco you can use flavored sparkling water (I love lemon flavored Perrier) or you can add sparkling cider to give a more Prosecco feel.
- Want to make this ahead of time? This is the perfect make ahead cocktail. The longer it sits, the more the flavors will infuse and the better it tastes! You can store it in an airtight container for up to 2 days! To illustrate, the same make-ahead logic is what makes my apple pie sangria so easy on a hosting night.

** TIP: The longer it sits, the more the flavors will infuse and the better it tastes! You can store it in an airtight container for up to 2 days! **
What’s more, I rarely pour it on its own. Prosciutto and fig crackers take care of the first hour, a warm creamy spinach dip keeps the table busy, and an epic veggie tray gives everyone something fresh to reach for.
Equally important is what else ends up in the glass. When the weather turns I pour a cranberry moscow mule instead; for brunch it is my champagne brunch punch; and on the hottest afternoons, a watermelon basil spritzer is the one everyone asks for.
I cannot wait for you to try this delicious summertime cocktail! Given that, keep my lemon basil champagne spritzer and the perfect peartini close by for the next gathering. This cocktail will be a massive hit with everyone in the family, from both non-alcoholic to various versions- it is the perfect summertime cocktail.
