There is something special about returning to do a thing a second time. I had the joy of hosting the second Eating with Erica Supper Club in the Philippines, this time at Little Baker in Tagum City. Our first event here taught me so much—challenges and all—and those lessons only made this gathering more rewarding. By the time our guests arrived, everything came together beautifully.
Planning the Next Supper Club
Choosing the venue was the easy part. After everything we learned planning our very first event, I felt ready—excited, even—to bring the second supper club to life. This charming restaurant won us over instantly—a menu of Western and Asian fusion, a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and exactly the kind of warmth I knew our guests would love.
Creating the Atmosphere at Little Baker
Little Baker’s modern-yet-cozy design—clean white walls, white chairs, and marble tables—gave us the perfect canvas for our color theme. We chose a summer-inspired palette of blue, white, and a hint of yellow: bright, cheerful, and full of light. It was such a joy to see familiar faces in the crowd—and even better to watch everyone honor the evening’s color theme. We started the night with a complimentary welcome drink, setting an easy, celebratory mood before we ever sat down to dinner.
