I had the chance to host the second Eating with Erica Supper Club in the Philippines. Looking back, I remember how much I learned and the challenges I faced while preparing for our first supper club event. Though those challenges were tough, they made the experience even more rewarding. When the time came to welcome our guests, everything went smoothly, setting a great example for future events.

Planning the Next Supper Club

Feeling confident, I was excited to plan our second supper club. Once we set the date, my excitement grew. Choosing the venue was easy because of the research we did for our first event. Little Baker, located at Osmeña Street in Tagum City, quickly became our top choice. This charming restaurant won us over with its mix of Western and Asian fusion dishes, its cozy atmosphere, and a menu that we knew our guests would love.

Creating the Atmosphere

The restaurant’s modern yet cozy design, with its white walls, chairs, and marble tables, made it the perfect setting for our event’s color theme. We chose a summer-inspired palette of blue, white, and a hint of yellow. The colors were bright and cheerful, and our florist did a great job bringing our vision to life with beautiful arrangements that matched the setting perfectly.

Welcoming Our Guests

Guests began arriving at 5:00 PM and were greeted by the restaurant’s simple yet welcoming decor and friendly staff. It was wonderful to see familiar faces among the guests, all of whom followed the evening’s color theme. The event started with a complimentary drink, setting the mood for an evening filled with good food and meaningful connections.

We carefully planned a four-course menu that blended Western and Filipino flavors, creating a dining experience that resonated with our guests. Each dish honored the Filipino love for traditional food, with a modern twist, offering a touch of luxury that still felt familiar. As the evening went on, it became clear that the Eating with Erica Supper Club is about more than just food. It’s about making friends, supporting local businesses, and empowering each other. Watching our guests connect, share stories, and build new friendships over dinner showed the power of stepping out of one’s comfort zone.

Final Thoughts

Hosting the second Eating with Erica Supper Club in the Philippines reminded me exactly why I started this journey. It’s not just about hosting dinners—it’s about building community.

It’s about creating moments where people feel seen, welcomed, and inspired.

And as the evening came to a close, it was clear that this was only the beginning. We left the restaurant feeling grateful, energized, and excited for the many gatherings still to come.

The second supper club was more than an event—it was a celebration of culture, connection, and community.

And I truly cannot wait to see where the next table takes us.
