A woman once said, ” Maybe girlfriends are our soul mates and guys are just people to have fun with.”  In the season of love, I had the chance to have my Ten of Us Dinner Series, a Galentine’s Day dinner at Red Sky Tapas.

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, but who doesn’t love a great time with your girls?  If you haven’t dined at Red Sky Tapas, add this restaurant to your radar immediately.

Red Sky Tapas has been open for over 15 years and was founded by friends Terry Kirby and Chef Brian Kennington. Red Sky Tapas is known for their superb service, delicious American-style tapas, tasty signature cocktails, lively entertainment, and dueling pianos.  While dining, we enjoyed a custom five-course dinner.  The menu was stellar.  While we savored our dinner, we relished cocktail pairings.  We enjoyed the following:

First Course

Lobster and roasted corn dip

Paired with “Love in a Glass” – Prosecco, Elderflower Liqueur with homemade strawberry syrup

Second Course

Barbecue brisket over polenta cake

Paired with Austin Hope Cabernet

Third Course

Grilled Caprese

Paired with “Be Mine Mule” – Moscow Mule with muddled strawberries

Fourth Course

Orange-ginger glazed duck with parmesan green beans

Paired with Ruffino Super Tuscan

Fifth Course

Tres Leches

Paired with “Chocolate Kiss” – Three Olives Chocolate, white and dark Godiva

The cocktail pairings paired perfectly with each dish.  I would highly recommend this establishment for private dining.  The private room provided plenty of space, and it was really cozy.  The dinner left all of my guests doing happy dances and pumped to watch the dueling pianos.

If you are looking for some unique fun and entertainment, you must visit Red Sky Tapas, and make sure to watch the dueling pianos, which play some classic hits.  It was ao much fun to sing along too.
Overall dinner was a blast, and I’m excited to revisit.  Make sure to follow Red Sky Tapas on IG: @redskytapas
