Where To Stay In Winston-Salem, NC: The Cardinal Hotel

During my recent visit to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, I had the opportunity to stay at The Cardinal Hotel, the first Kimpton property in North Carolina. This hotel is extremely impressive. You’ll be in awe of the beautiful city views, in-room spa services, and delicious dining options at The Katharine Brasserie.

I was greeted by the cheerful staff as I headed upstairs to my room, which was a spacious one-bedroom, 650-square-foot king-size suite. I fell in love with the oversized windows that displayed the charming city view. I especially like how the room was the best blend of business and relaxation. I wholeheartedly appreciated the desk and separate seating area, which made doing my work  a breeze.

The bathroom is sizeable and luxurious with a spa shower, soaking tub, and cozy bathrobes. This is so ideal if you are in need of a little rest and relaxation.

Located in the historic R.J. Reynolds building, which was an architectural muse for the Empire State Building, this 174-room hotel is the perfect blend of southern and swanky. You will appreciate the bold decor and southern hospitality while enjoying sweet tea.

This brand hotel has been ranked as Southern Living’s Best Hotel of the South for 2018. The location is walking distance from the Downtown Art District, which is home to several craft breweries and distilleries.

The amenities are one of the highlights of this hotel. They have anything and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. If you forget any of your travel essentials, they have you covered with a service called “Forgot It? We Got It!” This service is available upon request.

If you are like me, then you workout during your travel. And after you see the fabulous fitness center, you are going to want to work out immediately. Open 24-hours, this 1,867-square foot fitness center offers anything and everything for all of your fitness needs. You’ll love the state-of-the-art cardio and weight equipment. If you aren’t into fitness, the rec room is going to be a great time too. It features a basketball court, bowling alley, and a twisty slide.

Make sure that you are at the hotel for their complimentary wine hour, which takes place in the lobby from 5 p.m. till 6 p.m. And take advantage of their valet parking.

I had the best stay at this magnificent hotel! Make sure to follow The Cardinal Hotel on social media: @thecardinalws
