Red Lipstick+LBD=The Perfect Date Night

There is nothing more I look forward to than date night with my mister! My fiancé and I are always busy and on the go, which means that getting our quality time can be a bit challenging.  However, no matter how busy we are, we always make time for us.  I personally love date night because it’s an excuse for me to get dressed up (as if I needed a reason).  I’m a sucker for a black dress and red lipstick, and, well, he is too. LOL.
On this particular evening, he and I decided that we would explore 5Church Atlanta and go dancing.  Of course I wanted to look extra spicy for my man.  I usually do my own hair on, but this week was a long one, so I went to Kerri Alston.  After a long week, nothing makes me feel better like getting my hair done for date night.  Kerri is the only person I trust with my lovely locks.  She added some beautiful wand curls.  And what I loved most was that the curls brought out my highlights perfectly.
If I had it my way, I would wear dresses every day.  I am extremely girly, so dresses are my BFF.  When I first saw the black dress on Tobi, I was immediately obsessed.  Besides the dress being all black, which is one of my favorite colors, it was really whimsical and flowy.  Another plus is the length of the dress.
I am 5-9.  Typically, it’s really tough for me to find long dresses to wear with flats, stilettos, or barefoot.  The length of this dress was perfection.  I definitely was feeling extra spicy.  It has a breathtaking split up the leg and open shoulders.  I paired this look with a pair of black ankle-strap stilettos, which were not only comfortable, they also looked great with my dress. My “sunnies,”, were my favorite because of how chic they are.  The cat-eye frame fits my face really well.  They were the cherry that added to my look.
Needless to say, when you look good, you feel good. My mister loved my ensemble.  Dinner was delightful, and we danced the night away.
