It’s November, y’all, which means that it’s game time for Thanksgiving.  Bring on the roasted turkey, creamy mashed potatoes, cheesy mac and cheese, classic green bean casserole, and all of the calories!  Since I’m no longer a young lady, I am no longer allowed to bring ice and to-go containers.  I am now a adult, which means that I have to up my game.  I am now required to bring a dish (or two).  The only place I’m going to pick up my ingredients for this Thanksgiving season is The Fresh Market!

What I love about this market is that they are known for their farm-fresh produce, first-class quality meat, and seafood.  I also love their cheese selection, signature bakery items, and a variety of organic and local options.  When I visit, grocery shopping is always a breeze, the lines are short, the customer service is excellent, and everyone is always so helpful.  At times, I’ve shopped there three times in a week.

For Thanksgiving 2017, I don’t want to be traditional by bringing a dish.  I am lucky that The Fresh Market offers plenty of recipes and helpful Thankgiving tips to make your holiday season one to remember.

I decided to create the lemon shrimp with white beans recipe.

I had a test run at creating this dish before, and it was super delicious.

I have provided the recipe for you to try at home.  If you are limited on time or if cooking just isn’t your thing this holiday season, The Fresh Market has got you covered.  From now until November 20th, The Fresh Market is offering a holiday meal ordering program.  This is perfect for those who want a scrumptious Thanksgiving meal without the headache.  These gourmet dishes are incredible.  You will have plenty of items to choose from.  You’ll will have various unique options such as strawberry walnut take and baked brie, bone-in leg of lamb, and beef tenderloin.  If you are more traditional, you will have the options of turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes.  No matter what items you select, it’s going to be a hit.

Make sure that you mark your calendar for Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12 from 12 noon till 4 p.m.  The Fresh Market will be hosting a “Taste of the Holidays” sampling event.  This event is perfect because you get to sample the items before you place your order.  Some featured items are The Fresh Market’s mouthwatering, vegetarian-fed, 100 percent antibiotic-free turkey, spiral-sliced honey ham, double-glazed with honey and brown sugar and smoked over hickory hardwood, hearty sides, and scrumptious desserts.
