The holiday season can be overwhelming, but that doesn’t mean your appetizers have to be. When entertaining during the holidays, I prefer appetizers that are rich in flavor without consuming too much preparation time. I aim for simplicity without compromising taste. During the colder months, savory ingredients like US Farm-Raised Catfish offer an opportunity to get creative. My recipe for Fried Catfish Nugget Crostini with Remoulade Sauce is both savory and straightforward. This recipe can be used for Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving or NYE. What I love most about this recipe is so simple to create and the crunches of the catfish compliments the saltiness of the remoulade sauce. I garnished a few with some lemon *chef kiss*.

In this recipe, it’s essential to use only U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish, and here’s why:
1. **Versatility**: U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish is incredibly adaptable. While I choose to fry my catfish, those seeking healthier alternatives can opt for pan-searing.
2. **Sustainability**: US Farm-Raised Catfish is not only sustainable but also environmentally friendly. Enclosed U.S. catfish farms are shielded from natural or man-made pollution, ensuring cleaner farming practices.
3. **Health & Taste**: Lastly, U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish is not only healthy but also boasts a mild taste and flaky texture. It’s delightful whether you decide to fry, pan-sear, or broil it. Cooking with U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish allows for delectable dishes that are both eco-friendly and palate-pleasing.
