Sounds of jazz fill the air and West Peachtree is abuzz with activity; it’s a Friday evening on the patio at the Rowdy Tiger Whiskey Bar & Kitchen. There’s nothing like a summer evening in Midtown and the Rowdy Tiger is no exception to the mix.

New to the area and part of the Renaissance hotel, the bar boasts over 100 whiskeys and 50 moonshines. We opted for refreshing and flavorful bourbon-based cocktails. We enjoyed two small plates as we chatted over our cocktails: pickled deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes. Mmmmm! Two classics – and let us tell you, they were delish! The deviled eggs provided quite the photogenic presence, might we add.

As if we weren’t full enough, we continued to indulge our way into the weekend. The bourbon Angus burger and spinach cobb salad sure did hit the spot! The salad was fit for a queen and the burger was as juicy as they come. The Rowdy Tiger is one of those places where you truly cannot go wrong by opting for a salad. No regrets!

It’s safe to say this spot will probably become a Midtown go-to for the EWE team. To fulfill all of your Southern comfort food and whiskey dreams, head over to the Rowdy Tiger for your next happy hour, mid-week pick-me-up, or a night out with friends.
