Grand Opening Of Sleazy and Zino Bar and Bistro

Last night, I attended the grand opening of Sleazy and Zino Bistro & Bar.  Located at 182 Courtland Street in Downtown Atlanta, this establishment was previously Red Lounge. Sleazy and Zino Bistro & Bar is sure to be a new Atlanta hot spot.  It has a great location, a unique menu, and tasty cocktails.  The grand opening was hosted by Big Tigger of V-103.  His energy and fun personality kept the crowd entertained all evening.

Attendees to the grand opening included Towanda Braxton, Erica Dickson, Mama Dee, Joseline Hernandez, Kandi Burruss, Karlie Redd, Kirk Frost, Lil’ Scrappy, and Shay Johnson. Guests where treated to tasty hors d’oeuvres compliments of the Bistro.  There was also a congratulation toast compliments of Ciroc and Birthday Cake Wine. Some featured hors d’oeuvres where smoked catfish, dipped smoked wings, and catfish sliders just to name a few.  I was excited to chat with Chef Marcus “Ebony” Phillips, Chef Victor “Ivory” Amato  and Mark Mays regarding the new restaurant.

The menu is a tapas-based menu, but it has mouth watering tapas such as lobster and guacamole dip, shrimp and grits, and fried chicken and waffles.Guests where treated to a live performance from the talented band, Magnificent 757. While celebrating the grand opening, the hit reality show, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, was being filmed.I won’t give anything away, but this season will be full excitement.

Overall, the event was fun and enjoyable. Make sure that you add Sleazy and Zino Bistro & Bar to your foodie bucket.Sleazy & Zino Bistro & Bar will be open every night from 5 p.m. until 3 a.m.  On Sundays, the restaurant closes at 12 midnight.I can’t wait to revisit this restaurant.  A review is coming soon!
