Eating With Erica 1st Annual FriendsGiving
This year I decided to host my 1st Annual Eating With Erica Bloggers’ “Friendsgiving” at Einstein‘s in Midtown. Many of my blogger peeps have become close, personal friends. Several of my favorite people were leaving town during this holiday season, so I said, why not end my 2015 events with a bang!
I had a fabulous time and enjoyed everyone who was able to attend. It sincerely meant the world to me. I couldn’t think of a better place to host this intimate event other than Einstein’s. If you haven’t dined here, you need to add this gem to your must-try list.
Einstein’s offers an American-style menu. Parking in Midtown is not ideal, but they offer valet, which was perfect for my guests. The seating in this eatery is the best of both worlds. If you prefer booths, Einstein’s offers that option or you can sit at the high-top tables in the bar area.
This restaurant is ideal for large groups and parties. With a group of 22, the servers took excellent care of my group, and they didn’t miss a beat. Before our appetizers arrived, we enjoyed tasty Goza Tequila. It’s true about what they say: A little Goza goes a long way.
After delightful cocktails, we got started on our appetizers and entrees. During dinner, everyone was quiet because they were enjoying their amazing dinner. Einstein’s knows how to roll out the red carpet. Check out what we enjoyed!
Make sure you stop by Einstein’s. I’m sure you will be impressed. They’re open for brunch Saturdays and Sundays starting at 9 a.m.
This event would have not been possible without my sponsors! I take great pride in having my guests feeling appreciated. Spa Sydell, Goza Tequila, Cook’s Warehouse, Woodbridge Wine, and Peter’s Brew really made my swag bags perfection!
Spa Sydell provided gift cards for my guests. This Christmas season, treat your loved ones to a massage or facial at Spa Sydell. They have been one of Atlanta’s most respected spas for the last 15 years. They offer premier spa services, and now they offer Venus freeze. This really is one of my favorite places to go for the ultimate relaxation.
Cook’s Warehouse is my go-to for the holiday season. They have something for everybody no matter how difficult it is to shop for your loved ones during the holiday. Guests were treated to
knife sets, which were a hit. You can be the favorite in your family with this particular gift. If you know someone that’s in need of a knife set, this gift is available for purchase at Cook’s Warehouse. It’s regularly priced for $125, but you can get a set for $30. You can even get your knife set engraved to make it even more special.
Everyone that I know is addicted to coffee. I’m now addicted to Peter’s Brew. This is a rum-based coffee. Founders, Peter and Russell, went to Jamaica to get the freshest coffee beans. The best thing about this coffee is that it’s a delicious cocktail as well. Nothing is better than a copy and paste cocktail after dessert. Order your coffee online as a stocking stuffer or order it for you and your coworkers so that you can enjoy it in the office. You are going to love it.
The only wine my family is serving this holiday season is Woodbridge wine. For 30 years, Robert Mondavi has been making classic wine. Established Woodbridge winery in 1979, Robert says that he created this wine because he was trying to plant deep into the soil of our young country the same values, traditions, and daily pleasures that his
mother and father had brought with them from the hills and valleys of central Italy. Those things are good food, good wine, and love of family. Woodbridge has several wines for any wine connoisseur. I highly recommend Cabernet Sauvignon, Lightly Oaked Chardonnay, and the Sauvignon Blanc. If you really enjoy wine, you will appreciate the wine club. This club only offers the finest grapes, and the cut bottlings are very limited.
My attendees loved the Goza Tequila. It is officially my new favorite liquor. I don’t know if it’s because it’s an estate Tequila, which means during the entire Tequila process it goes from seeds to the bottle. It never leaves Goza’s estate during the entire process. It’s also because it’s been distilled twice. It is truly perfection. You’ll be happy to know that it’s a local business, and everyone knows how I feel about #MakeEverydayLocal.
I mean, how can you not support a company whose vision is to bring you
damn Tequila? Goza Tequila is a winner in my book.
