Cara Cara Trunk Show: A Celebration of Fashion, Food & Philanthropy
What’s better than food and fashion? Absolutely nothing—especially when it’s paired with a purpose. I recently had the incredible opportunity to partner with one of my favorite brands, Cara Cara, for a memorable two-day trunk show in Atlanta. This event was the perfect blend of style, community, and meaningful giving—and I’m so excited to share all the highlights with you.
Why I Love Cara Cara
I’ve been a huge fan of Cara Cara for as long as I can remember. Their signature bold prints, feminine silhouettes, and timeless designs make every piece a statement. Whether you’re attending a brunch, jet-setting on vacation, or hosting a dinner party, Cara Cara’s collections are effortlessly chic. The clothes are true to size, well-structured, and made to last—perfect staples for any modern woman’s wardrobe.

Hosting a Trunk Show with Purpose
For this special event, I had the pleasure of co-hosting with the fabulous Amber Longo, and together we welcomed a beautiful group of women—including members of the Eating With Erica Supper Club and loyal Cara Cara shoppers. Over the course of two days, we laughed, connected, sipped bubbly, and styled our favorite looks from the latest collection.

From the very beginning, this event felt warm and inspiring. Guests were invited to enjoy curated light bites, shop the stunning collection, and engage in conversation with fellow fashion lovers. It wasn’t just a shopping experience—it was a celebration of style, sisterhood, and soul.

Giving Back with Gilgal
One of the most rewarding parts of the weekend was the philanthropic element. A portion of the proceeds from the trunk show was donated to Gilgal, a nonprofit organization that’s truly changing lives.
Gilgal is a Christ-centered recovery residence for women experiencing homelessness due to drug and alcohol addiction. Through their long-term, multiphase recovery program, they help women transition from crisis to stability and independent living. It was an honor to support such a powerful mission and to know that every purchase made during the event had a lasting impact.

Fashion That Makes a Difference
This event reminded me of the incredible things that happen when fashion meets intention. We didn’t just shop—we supported, empowered, and uplifted. We didn’t just wear clothes—we wore purpose.
I left the weekend feeling inspired, grateful, and more connected to the Atlanta community than ever. Fashion is fun, but it’s also a powerful tool for bringing people together and creating positive change.
Final Thoughts
If you ever have the chance to attend a Cara Cara trunk show, go. Whether you’re there to refresh your wardrobe, support a great cause, or just soak in the energy of a vibrant, stylish crowd—you’ll leave feeling inspired and full of joy.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, shopped, and gave back. And thank you to Cara Cara for continuing to create clothing that celebrates confidence, beauty, and impact.
