Oh Baby! Pregnancy Announcement

Hi, friends!  I am so excited to announce that I am expecting a child with my loving husband, Desmond.
Although Baby Thomas has been a pleasant surprise, we are so thrilled and are looking forward to our baby’s arrival into this world.

My pregnancy has been a complete roller coaster, to be honest.  The first trimester was awful.  I was soooo sick and truly had no idea how I was going to endure.  Seriously, I have had Everclear and Bacardi 151 hangovers better than my first trimester.  But Desmond has been a complete angel, and he has been literally waiting on me hand and foot.

I have been utterly exhausted, but, yet, I have been devouring everything in sight.
As I progressed into the second trimester, things definitely got easier.  I know pregnancy is different for each woman, but nevertheless, it’s HARD.

As I am approaching my third trimester, there is so much to do, and I am enjoying every moment of it. Typically, I wake up at 5 a.m., and I am running around.  I was determined to wake up and slay each day during my pregnancy; however, that has NOT been the case.  Baby, this pregnancy is slaying me. *LOL*

But as I gain my energy back, I am starting to feel like myself again.  Here are some things that helped me throughout this pregnancy thus far:
1. Compression socks

2. Side pillows (one for bed and one for lying down during the day)

3. Candy for nausea

4. Lots of ginger tea

5. An amazing husband and tons of supportive friends and family.

I will be sharing nursery updates and all that fun jazz.  I can’t wait for you-all to meet Baby Thomas!
If anybody has any pregnancy tips, please share them.  I would love any advice or suggestions.
