Hi, friends!

I am so excited to share with y’all a How to Create the Best DIY Bridesmaid Proposal Box. All-things wedding planning is in full swing, and I’m totally thrilled about it. During this time, I am still navigating, when it comes to my big day; however, I am hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.

Creating these bridesmaid proposal boxes has taken my mind off of things and gotten my spirits back up. For those of you who don’t know what a bridesmaid proposal box is, it’s a box that you create for each of your bridesmaids, and you propose to them — that they join you by your side on your wedding day! I am really lucky to have such a great group of girlfriends that will stand by my side on my big day, an event in which I will remember for the rest of my life.

For this DIY project, I partnered with my friends at Chambord. Chambord is a premium liqueur produced in the Loire Valley of France.  Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur is an infusion of raspberries, blackberries, and the exotic flavors of black raspberries, black currant, Madagascar vanilla, and XO cognac. Chambord is the perfect liqueur for you and your girls because it is the perfect match with champagne. I would recommend that you include Chambord for bridal showers, bachelorette parties, and wedding receptions. ****Drink responsibly. Legal drinking age only. Don’t share with anyone underage. ******

When creating a bridesmaid proposal box, the key is to make sure that the box fits the personality of that particular bridesmaid.  I wanted to make sure everything in my box was useful; and something that each one of them would appreciate, no matter what their personality may be.  I also wanted to make sure not to break the bank.  To recreate my boxes, I used the following items:

Chambord & Korbel Champagne

Pop the champagne; I’m changing my last name!  My bridesmaids may have different tastes in spirits, but they are all about a champagne campaign.  I added mini bottles of Chambord & Korbel so that we could celebrate with a cocktail via Zoom.  I sent a recipe card of one of my favorite cocktails: Chambord Royale.  You’ll be so impressed at how simple this recipe is to create.  Recipe for Chambord Royale:

0.25 ounce of Chambord
Champagne; prosecco, or sparkling wine (I used Korbel)
1 raspberry
Pour Chambord in a flute or a coupe glass; then fill with sparkling wine.  Garnish with a raspberry.

Kendra Scott Jewelry

If you have never experienced the Kendra Scott Color Bar, put it on your to-visit list immediately.  I had the best time personalizing each one of my bridesmaid’s gifts.  If you want to create a unique piece of jewelry that makes a statement, or if you want to create jewelry that matches your wedding palette, then you are going to love the Kendra Scott Color Bar.  The team at the Lenox Square location was so patient with me as I designed nine earrings and necklaces for each gal.  All of my bridesmaids were extremely shocked, and they LOVED their gift.

Eating with Erica Candle

I love candles! — so much so that I launched the Eating with Erica candle line.  During this crazy time, candles have brought extreme comfort when I need to wind down and reset so that I can be filled with a burst of energy, or when I need some extra pep in my step.  I know that my gal-pals love candles just as much as I do, and they appreciated them so much!

Shake Shack Gift Card

As a food blogger, it would be remiss of me if I didn’t include some type of food item in each box.  All of my bridesmaids have a location near them, so I knew that the Shake Shack gift card would be a hit.  And let’s be honest:  Who doesn’t like Shake Shack? Fun fact:  Shake Shack recently partnered with Goldbelly to ship their burger kits.  You can now enjoy the deliciousness of Shake Shack in the comfort of your own home.

Labels

This biggest challenge was finding the labels to fit the box.  However, Etsy came through, because that is the site in which I ordered the labels from.  Since the boxes were small and dainty, I’m so thankful that the labels fit each box perfectly!  This seller also offers names and titles for the labels in different colors and styles.

Boxes

I purchased the boxes from Amazonand they were the perfect size for everything to fit into the box.  I appreciate how the boxes came in several colors.  And I have to admit that I was shocked that the boxes arrived within a week, especially with the pandemic that’s taking place.

Invitations

I partnered with Minted for my ‘Will You Be My Bridesmaid?’ cards.  The card quality was thick, and I had the option to add a photo.  I love how the card had ample space for a personal message. I had such a great time creating each proposal box, and I was thrilled that my bridesmaids loved them.

Each one of them is still raving about their box.  I can’t wait to surprise them with their bridesmaid’s gifts.  Did you create a bridesmaid proposal box for each of your bridesmaids?  Share what you included in the boxes!
