Eating With Erica Supper Club: F&B Atlanta
Each time that I host one of my Ten of Us Dinner Series, I try to have a particular theme in mind and curate a really unique exclusive dining experience. It’s really important to me that my guests have the best time and leave with a full heart, stuffed belly, and with a new favorite restaurant. During my most recent dinner party, we experienced a night in Paris at F&B Atlanta, and I couldn’t have selected a more authentic French restaurant. Located in Buckhead, F&B Atlanta is a neighborhood bistro that offers exceptional culinary experiences, craft cocktails, and a dash of coziness.
Owned and operated by father-daughter duo, Fabrice Vergez and Claudine Vergez, F&B Atlanta is Buckhead’s locally-owned French destination that opened in July 2012. They serve signature French cuisine in a warm atmosphere, and you’ll be over the moon with their craft cocktails and extensive wine list.
We were treated to a wonderful dinner, compliments of Chef Gabriel Camargo, who has been the executive chef at F&B Atlanta for over eight years. He has an impressive and nuanced understanding of French and Mediterranean cuisine, with an artists aesthetic and celebrity style. Chef Camargo uses the highest quality of meats and seafood alongside fresh locally-sourced vegetables and other premiere quality ingredients.
We couldn’t enjoy a French dinner without French liqueur. Chambord is a premium liqueur produced in the Loire Valley of France. Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur is an infusion of raspberries, blackberries, and the exotic flavors of black raspberries, black currant, Madagascar vanilla, and XO cognac. We paired various courses with this delicious liqueur.
Dinner isn’t dinner without a stunning tablescape. I was so lucky to partner with the talented, Julie Rogers of Plume Florals. All I had to do was send Julie an image, and then she and I had a chat about my vision and the magic that I desired to happen. She was so professional and kind, and I was so in love with the florals and the tablescape that she created. The European vibe that I was looking for was brought to life perfectly.
We enjoyed the following for dinner:
Beet Salad
Goat Cheese Tart
Lobster Crepe
Veal scaloppini
Salmon Tartare
Lamb Lollipops
Spring Vegetable Risotto
Roasted Spring Chicken Mushrooms
Poached Scottish Salmon
Seared Duck Breast
Warm Pear Tart
Creme Brûlée
Warm Chocolate Cake
Profiteroles
Dinner was absolutely stellar, and the cocktails were perfectly blended. Everyone had a great time.
