IMG_0701This evening I was elated to attend a dinner gathering, compliments of the Association Of Food Bloggers and Chef Ed Harris. Harris was the winner of the Food Network’s CHOPPED “Turbo Powered” Season Four. He has also appeared as a chef on 24-hour Restaurant Battle and Chef Wanted. After enjoying Harris’ cuisine, it’s no surprise that he won on CHOPPED.

New York City chef Ed Harris’ unending passion for cuisine began in the kitchen many years ago. From private events and various celebrity gatherings to consulting on menu items and restaurant concepts, Harris draws his culinary knowledge from a wide array of experiences. He has dedicated much of his leisure time to teaching children about food and the culinary business, and he is a prolific fundraiser for charities like the Taste of New York and the James Beard Foundation. He also received his education from the Art Institute of New York City—these many experiences have helped him achieve expertise in a variety of culinary styles. While dining at his pop up restaurant, we were in for some real treats—every dish that Harris created during this dinner was extremely unique. Harris provided a mouthing presentation, and the food tasted even better than it looked—which is saying a lot….
