This evening I was elated to attend a dinner gathering,Ā compliments ofĀ the Association Of Food Bloggers and Chef Ed Harris. Harris was the winner of the Food Network’sĀ CHOPPEDĀ “TurboĀ Powered” Season Four. HeĀ hasĀ also appeared as a chef onĀ 24-hour Restaurant BattleĀ andĀ Chef Wanted. New York CityĀ chef Ed Harris’ unending passion for cuisine began in the kitchen many years ago. From private events and various celebrity gatherings to consulting on menu items and restaurant concepts, HarrisĀ draws his culinary knowledge from a wide array of experiences. He has dedicated much of his leisure time to teaching children about food andĀ theĀ culinary business, andĀ he is a prolific fundraiserĀ for charities like the Taste of New York and the James Beard Foundation.Ā He also received his education from the Art Institute of New York Cityāthese many experiences have helped him achieve expertise inĀ a variety ofĀ culinaryĀ styles.Ā While diningĀ at his pop up restaurant,Ā we were in for some real treatsāevery dishĀ that HarrisĀ created during this dinner was extremely unique.Ā Harris provided aĀ mouthingĀ presentation, and the food tasted even better than it lookedāwhich is saying a lot….
