ATLANTA (April 24, 2015) – Mom has always provided us with love and care, and now Mother’s Day is around the corner with the perfect opportunity to return the favor. There’s no need to worry about preparing an extravagant feast for that special lady in your life when these Atlanta-area restaurants have everything taken care of for you. On Sunday, May 10, treat her to a cozy brunch or memorable meal at the following:

Take a stroll around Midtown then sit down for Sunday brunch at 10th & Piedmont or G’s Midtown  from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Menu items include hot plates such as challah bread French toast and cold plates like house-smoked salmon. Brunch is $34.95 per person. For reservations, call 404-602-5510.


Aqua blue in Roswell knows that a love as big as mother’s demands a feast. From 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., the restaurant is serving $15 bottomless mimosas and a brunch buffet including eggs Benedict, blackened fish with lobster sauce, and dessert favorites like a chocolate fountain. The buffet is $34.95 for adults and $9.95 for children ages 4 to 12. Children under 4 eat free. If brunch time doesn’t work, make it a dinner date. Buckhead restaurant Aria is honoring mom with a dinner service typically unavailable on Sundays.  Chef/owner Gerry Klaskala is making a special exception for May 10, serving his avant-garde take on fine American cuisine beginning at 5 p.m. For reservations, call 404-233-7673.


Just north of the city in historic Crabapple, Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails chef Derek Dollar presents a prix fixe Mother’s Day brunch and dinner menu. Brunch is $32 for adults; $16 for children 12 and under.  Featured selections include prosciutto eggs Benedict and blackened salmon. Looking for a later celebration? Reserve a table for dinner for $38 for adults, $19 for children and enjoy shrimp and grits, Southern fried chicken breast or an 8 oz. New York strip. The regular kids menu will also be available. Ray’s on the River in Sandy Springs is offering its award-winning buffet from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. with brunch, lunch or dinner options as the day progresses. In Alpharetta, Ray’s at Killer Creek is serving a buffet from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Cost is $34.95 for adults; $17.95 for children ages 5 to 10. For preferred seating, call 770-649-0064. Take mom downtown to Ray’s in the City for a Mother’s Day buffet from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. or regular à la carte menu service from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. The buffet is $34.95 for adults and $17.95 for children ages 5 to 10. The Southern Gentleman extends its gracious hospitality from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., starting the day with a brunch menu of dishes such as cornmeal and ricotta pancakes and soft poached hen egg with crispy grit cakes.  For those visiting later in the day, the dinner menu choices include duck confit with duck fat dumplings and roasted Carolina mountain trout with buttermilk roasted potatoes.
