Vin Vie Bistro  Address: 2285 Peachtree Rd NE #100, Atlanta, GA 30309 Phone Number: (404) 317-7020 Website: http://www.vinviebistro.com/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/VinVieBistro Instagram: http://instagram.com/VinVieBistro I was invited as media to a very tasty dinner this past Monday.  The old “Tantra” is now the new and gorgeous restaurant, “Vin Vie Bistro” which is located on Peachtree Street in Buckhead next door to Imperial Fez. “Vin Vie” is French for “wine life.”  And with its modern decor and upscale ambience, Vin Vie Bistro is soon-to-be an Atlanta favorite.  This delightful eatery offers true, authentic French cuisine.

I am very fond of the menu, and trust me, it’s not your traditional French-American restaurant.  I found the food and menu to be very authentic and fresh from scratch.  The owners added an awesome patio just in time for the summer, and the staff are extremely professional and friendly.  You can just sense that the staff at Vin Vie Bistro actually like their jobs!

Below are some of my must-trys:

Endive Salad:  Belgian endive, white wine vinaigrette, candied walnuts, fourme d’ambert.

Poulet Terrine:  Chicken liver pate, arugula, honey mustard vinaigrette, red wine reduction.

Escargots:  Champagne, herb butter, and butter mushrooms.

New Zealand Grass-Fed Lamb Chops with mint gerb demi reduction.

Beef Bourguignon:  Burgundy-style beef cheeks, bacon, mushrooms, pearl onions, potatoes, carrots.

Salmon Frites:  Pan-seared salmon filet, herb potatoes, mustard aioli.

Truite:  Seared trout, haricot verts, fingerlings, lemon brown butter, almonds.

Frog Legs:  Pan-Seared, lightly breaded, tomato confit.
