BIG Bar

Rain, sleet, or snow, I was going to visit BIG Bar in Chicago.  I had to fight all three weather elements while in Chicago to get to this establishment.  BIG Bar is located in the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Chicago.  It’s a very trendy spot, and when you first walk in, you’ll literally notice a BIG bar. This bar has a great view of the city, and the overall atmosphere is fun and hip.

BIG Bar is known for their big drinks,and BIG is actually an understatement.  The drinks are huge.  The BIG drink is 48 ounces which is equivalent to six cups.  The bar does offer standard-sized drinks. But who wants that when you have the option to have a 48-ounce drink?

The drink that I ordered was the Spiced Pear.  This divine drink was mixed with Grey Goose La Poire vodka, Domaine de Canton Ginger, and fresh sour.  Incredible doesn’t begin to describe this drink!  It was mixed perfectly and had a nice, light pear flavoring.  I was unable to drink the entire BIG drink solo, but thank God I had help to consume it.

I had a wonderful time at BIG Bar, and it’s one of my new favorite places in Chicago.  This is a place that you have to add to your bucket list!
