While in New York, I decided to meet a friend for a quick lunch meeting. She suggested the The Old Homestead in the heart of New York City!

When arriving, I had wished I had more time to have dinner at the restaurant. The menu has everything from Caviar to a 12-ounce $350 Japanese Kobe Beef steak, crab meat stuffed shrimp, and prime 40-day dry-aged rib steak on the bone for two. I was livid that I was on such a time crunch. And since I was, I decided to try the Colossal Crab Cake and East Coast Oysters. As you can see in the video, the crab cake was huge and full of  fresh lump crab meat. There was hardly any breading, and it was full of flavor. The oysters were perfectly chilled and fresh.

I can’t wait to return to New York City to enjoy a meal and experience several tasty entrees on The Old Homestead’s menu.
