Rockin In Rockford Pop up-Shop At Salon Jahlu

I had a great time this weekend visiting Rockford, Illinois for the Eating With Erica and House of Bidalle’s (www.houseofbidalle.com) first annual Rockin In Rockford Pop up Shop. The event was held at Salon Jalu which is located at 3138 North Rockton Ave (in the Schnucks grocery store plaza). The salon recently moved locations and the new salon is better than ever! The owner, LeAnn Howard, spoke briefly with me regarding the launch of her new location. “I want a place for women to feel beautiful from the moment they come into my salon until they leave.” says LeAnn.

After leaving her chair that is exactly how I felt. LeAnn is extremely gifted when it comes to the art of hair and I was beyond thrilled with the results after being at Salon Jahlu.

Kennedy Bidalle of House of Bidalle picked out various trendy fashion finds. When I asked Kennedy why she choose Rockford to have this event she said, ” Rockford is a great city with a lot of potential. I wanted to bring something new and fun to the city. I have met some great people and I can’t wait to return with more events.”

The day was filled with fashion, wonderful food and wine, and useful hair tips. Salon Jahlu styled my hair for the day and I was in love. The event brought something new to Rockford and I would like to say thank you to everyone that came out and supported the event.
