The Perfect Peartini

This Peartini recipe is seriously delicious. One part sweet, one part spicy- this recipe is perfect for the holidays! We use a little spiced syrup to give it a kick of wintertime, while a little bit of amaretto gives us a little sweetness! Hands down this combination is such a festive yet perfect peartini that anyone can enjoy this holiday season!

Ingredients
  

  • oz pear vodka
  • ¾ oz amaretto liqueur
  • ½ oz spiced simple syrup
  • ¼ oz  lemon juice
  • Pear slice for garnish 

SPICED SIMPLE SYRUP

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 star anise

Instructions
 

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • In a shaker filled with ice, pour the ingredients.
  • Shake until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat.
  • Strain into cocktail glass. 
  • Garnish with a pear slice. Serve and enjoy!

SPICED SIMPLE SYRUP

  • Combine sugar, water, and spices in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stir until sugar is fully dissolved and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Remove from heat and allow the spices to steep for 20–30 minutes.
  • Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a glass jar or bottle.
  • Cool completely before using. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • Make a double batch at the start of fall — this syrup is equally wonderful in coffee, hot tea, and an old fashioned.
