hi there!

I am a wife & mother. I am a passionate culinary enthusiast and lifestyle influencer. I launched Eating with Erica in 2013. What started out as a food blog, soon became a go-to resource for the best eats, entertainment tips, and OTHER content in the metro-Atlanta area.

Today, Eating with Erica is a nationally recognized food and lifestyle website that has been featured in Food & Wine, Good Morning America, CNN, Essence and more.

Faqs

I am a full-time food blogger and content developer.

I have always been a huge fan of first-class dining experiences.  “I live to eat” was my life’s motto, rather than eat to live.  As a frequent diner, I became the go-to person for my friends and family who needed my recommendations for a date night, a girls’ night out, and birthday parties.  I decided to launch a foodie directory so they would have a central place to look up my suggestions and so they could stop calling me (LOL!)  At the time, I didn’t even know that I was creating a food blog.  I secured the domain name “Eating with Erica” and went for it.  And the rest is history!

Since I first started my blog, Eating with Erica, I always had a full-time position in marketing and sales.  I would work my 9 to 5, and then go home to work on my 5 to 9.  But when I got laid off and started looking for new opportunities, my fiancé suggested I pursue my dream of making my blog full time.  Nearly two years later, Eating with Erica has continued to blossom as a platform for me to share my food and lifestyle recommendations as an influencer, content creator, and brand ambassador.

Make sure that you are consistent, take pride in your work, and follow your passion.  Nothing happens overnight.  But if you work hard, you will see results.

I am 5’9.

I absolutely love pizza, especially with a chianti.

I make it a priority to work out four times a week.  I try to eat as clean as possible when I know that I’ll be having a week full of food events and restaurant tastings.  I drink smoothies for breakfast, and I eat lots of salads when I have slower weeks.  It’s all about balance.

I grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia, which is a suburb of Atlanta.  As an adult, I’be called Atlanta home and have lived in the city for more than ten years.

I am a Buckhead lady through and through.

Atlanta is an incredible city filled with a welcoming sense of community.  This city is also a great place for an opportunity with many different industries that call Atlanta home.  But the best part about this city is the people.  The southern hospitality never gets old.
