Love is in the air (with my gal pals, that is!) It’s time for my Galentine’s Day celebration!
I am really excited about celebrating Galentine’s Day with all of my amazing gal-pal lovelies! And what I love most about this day is that it’s an excuse to drink cocktails, spend quality time with my girls, and eat delicious food. And since I am the hostess with the mostess, I will skip dining at a restaurant, because I will be entertaining at home.
When creating a menu for entertaining, the menu process always stresses me out a bit because, although we are ladies, we are also hearty eaters. So I want to make sure that all of my guests enjoy their food.
While planning the lively festivities and the menu, I partnered up with Karv. I created two platters with an assortment of hors d’oeuvres platters which are always ideal for entertaining because your guests can self-serve with plenty of options. I separated the beef and chicken for any of my guests that may have dietary restrictions.
The shaved steak made for perfect beef sliders. I topped the sliders with Gouda cheese and grilled onions and served the sliders with a side of au jus and creamy horseradish sauce. I am a huge fan of peppercorn-crusted anything which was the perfect match for the beef ribeye. Prepared on the grill, my beef ribeye was absolutely delectable. And the beef premium tips were perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper.
The chicken platter was served with chicken sausage, boneless chicken breast, and chicken cutlets. It was so scrumptious and more than enough. My guests left happy and full, and I had enough unused meat for dinner the rest of the week.
