The Atlanta Fish Market is known for bearing some of the freshest seafood in Atlanta. They have fresh fish flown in daily for the customer’s choosing. Not only do they have a large menu with a huge selection of different types of seafood and sushi, but they also have a fish market that serves up all types of fish and shrimp, including sushi grade salmon and tuna. The lobster roll was worth the Friday afternoon traffic into Buckhead – the chilled lobster was overflowing from the warm and toasted bun. The lobster was mixed with mayonnaise, celery, and a hint of mustard. Paired a long side the lobster roll were Maryland Fries and a dipping sauce that tasted similar to a mixture of ketchup and mustard. The Atlanta Fish Market is perfect for an elegant evening out or a quick lunch with a friend. Either way, you’re going to be graced with some of Atlanta’s best seafood.

Bite Bistro

Bite Bistro might be a bit of a drive for local Atliens, as it is located in Alpharetta. For those willing to make the drive, it is so worth it for one of their lobster roll appetizers. The environment in Bite Bistro is very modern and elegant, making it a great first date or anniversary celebration spot. The lobster rolls were perfect for splitting an appetizer with another person – however they could easily double as an entree for those who are spare a larger appetite. If you come for lunch, you can order one lobster roll that is perfect for a hefty lunch. Bite’s rolls were absolutely delicious – the pickled onion that placed on top brought out the flavor of the lobster and made the entire roll have a strong and tasty twist. The coleslaw that came with the rolls was delicious as well. It is described on the menu as jalapeno corn slaw. I tasted a hint of cilantro in it, which made the slaw the perfect way to end the meal.

The setting of Seven Lamps is up-scale yet simple. Located in the Lenox Square shopping center, it is the perfect restaurant to stop at after a long day of shopping. Seven Lamps serves their lobster in a steamed brioche bun, making it unique to most lobster rolls. The steaming of the bun made for a doughy and warm experience, which paired perfectly with the simplicity of the chilled lobster stuffed inside. Mixed in with the lobster meat was a creamy celery aioli. This lobster roll is the perfect way to warm up and get your protein fix on any cool day in Buckhead.
