Jeffery Fashion Cares 2015
Last night I had the privilege to attend my first Jeffery Fashion Cares Fashion Show. Jeffery Fashion Cares is an Atlanta AIDS Fund, which funds HIV/AIDS projects in the metropolitan area and Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta, which provides grants to grassroots organizations fighting breast cancer. Jeffrey Fashion Cares contributes 100% of its net proceeds to the Atlanta AIDS Fund & Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta. Due to their hard work last year, $0.89 of every dollar went directly to the charities. Last year’s sold-out event raised $700,000 for the two organizations, and in its history, Fashion Cares has grown into one of the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country. I mean who wouldn’t want to support such an amazing cause? My food bestie Lauren and I got glammed up and we were to going to hit the red carpet. The event included a red carpet reception where attendees got a chance to mix and mingle. This was followed by a live auction, which had some incredible items including a pair of earrings worn by first lady Michelle Obama, deluxe trip to New York and runway show featuring Kalinsky’s style selections from high-end designers such as:
Lanvin | Celine | Christian Dior | Givenchy | Valentino | Saint Laurent Paris | Dries van Noten | Balenciaga | Christian Louboutin | Manolo Blahnik. The after party continued at YEBO where after partygoers enjoyed a jammin music and delish cocktails.
I cannot wait for next year. To stay in the loop regarding Jeffery Fashion Cares 2016 log on to this website to be notified. Trust me this isn’t an event you want to miss. http://www.jeffreyfashioncares.org/. Huge thanks to the following for a successful event:

My dress for this event is from a company called Bella B Dresses. They are launching this fall (finally). The designer sent me a few fashion pieces for my next few events and I couldn’t be happier. One of my favorite go to colors is BLACK. I love everything about wearing all black. For this event I specially requested a classic yet sophisticated black dress. When I opened my package it was this olive green dress. I immediately called the owner Mel and said there has been a mix up with my dress, that it was green and this event is tomorrow. (keep in mind this was at 10pm at night). Mel said you need to try other colors than black there is no mix up. This dress is going to be great with your skin tone. And when I tried the dress on I cannot lie I fell in love. The style and the color really sold me. Who knew I would love another color out side of black? Be prepared to see me in more color this fall.
