In so many words I feel the same way as Kelis. Especially about nail polish. I have always been told a women’s nails can you tell you a lot about a women. The Beauty Gypsy says: Certain colors represent certain things about a women. And gives examples of the color and personality. For instance:
Red nail polish is the ultimate statement of glamour—a bold, look-at-me colour that speaks of passion, fire, and confidence. It marks you out as someone who is daring, dramatic, outgoing, and doesn’t shy away from the spotlight. Play with this hue when you want to show off your diva side!
Nude Sun tanned taupe and nudes are for clean-cut, beachy girls (hello Jennifer Aniston!) who are glamorous yet secure enough not to follow every trend. Pretty and polished, they are feminine without being high maintenance.
Black reflects a daring, “don’t mess with me” femme fatale who is a trendsetter and doesn’t care what anyone else is doing. And no, wearing black nail polish doesn’t mean you are depressed or going goth: rather, it’s a way of rebelling against the norm and showing some of the darkness in your personality.
Last night I had a chance to host my first blogger GNO at Salon Five. Salon Five is a premiere nail salon located at 506 Moreland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307.
Salon Five is so much more than a nail salon. They offer traditional mani and pedis, gel mani, and pedis. Gel polish is my favorite because it lasts for over two weeks. I always get gel polish for my nails and toes because there’s no chipping and the polish drys within 10 mins. You are literally in and out there is no worrying about ruining your nails. Salon Five has plenty of colors for your gel mani and pedi needs. Salon Five offers foot massages.
Brittnee of IHateMyPublicist was treated to eyelash extensions. They completely gave her an instant sultry glam look! They looked amazing!
Ashely receieved a facial and her skin was glowing! Catherine, Allision, Kelly, Emily, Lynn, Cari and I decided to get my eyebrows threaded and they looked amazing. It was less painful than waxing and the results are a world of difference. And it still kept my natural shape and length. The threading left no excess hair and my brows looked good. 
For one hour you will get the best foot massage in the state of Georgia, hot towel wrap, it’s for an hour long and can you believe it’s only $35.00. Any day of the week. What a deal!
\Attendees were treated wine, sushi, macaroons, smoked salmon bites and cupcakes. The staff were beyond helpful and extremely kind. They really know their stuff. To say we had a blast would be an understatement. The staff was so knowledgeable and really and truly gave us a spa-like experience. Salon Five is able to do everyday nails services and it’s a perfect place for a GNO, bachelorette party, to catch up with a girlfriend, or Bridal shower pregame.
