Flavor Forward, Health Minded Entrees, Dessert and Cocktail Added to Menu

ATLANTA (March 5, 2015) –True Food Kitchen recently rolled out an expanded selection of new menu items reflecting the flavors and bounty of the season including three entrees, one dessert and one cocktail.

“At True Food Kitchen, we’re committed to embracing the season and working with local purveyors to bring the freshest ingredients possible to the restaurant,” saidJohn Adamson, executive chef in Atlanta.

In addition to mainstay favorites like the Inside Out Quinoa Burger and Spaghetti Squash Casserole, the menu at True Food Kitchen now features a Roasted Vegetable Ingredient Salad made with Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, squash, mulberry, white bean, pomegranate and horseradish vinaigrette; SustainableSeared Scallops served with freekeh, mushroom, carrot and spicy mole sauce; and Moroccan Chicken with chickpeas, fig, olive, spinach and chermoula.

For dessert, guests can enjoy the new Super Berry Tart topped with antioxidant-packed sea buckthorn, coconut whipped cream and pomegranate. Behind the bar, True Food Kitchen is now mixing up a Grapefruit Mojito made with a blend of Crusoe white rum, VeeV acai, mint and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, perfect to enjoy al fresco as spring weather makes its way to Atlanta.

True Food Kitchen opened in Atlanta last June at Lenox Square Mall. The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., on Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
