I love makeup! So I was thrilled to a be muse for some of Atlanta’s hottest MUA’s.
I loved both looks because they were so different yet equally gorgeous. Billie Simone And Rahle’ Valeece are my favorites.
Billie Simone
Billie has been a MUA for over 7 years. We discussed the secret to flawless makes up. The secret is great skin. The better your skin is the smoother your makeup will be. Makeup is suppose to enhance your beauty not go on your face like a mask. Billie provided some great tips for excellent skin:
1. Drink wa
ter: if you drink water make sure you Drink more water. Drinking at least 8 glasses a day will help rid the body and skin of toxins. Everyone will not agree that water consumption will improve skin… but it certainly can’t hurt. Many people often report that by increasing their water intake, their skin has a more radiant glow. Those who suffer from acne have reported the same results. Nothing will happen overnight, but even a good couple of weeks of increasing water intake should be enough for you to see how hydration affects your own skin.
2. Knowing your skin: Do you have oil or dry skin? What is your skin sentivite too? What products work best for your skin? Figuring out the answers to these questions will assist with obtaining flawless skin,
3. Exforaliant: Exfoliation, helps to reduce the occurrence of acne and blackhead breakouts. Acne-prone skin sheds extra skin cells more than other skin types, but the cells do not fall away. Instead, they stick to the skin, clogging pores and hair follicles. As this dead cell debris builds, the skin produces excess follicle oils—which leads to blackheads and blemishes. Think of regular exfoliation as “taking out the trash” and reducing the likelihood of clogged pores and acne.
The look she created for YP event was nude and light glam! When it comes to dinner parties I don’t like to go over the top. And she nailed the direction I wanted my look.
Rahle’ Valeece
Rahle’ Valeece has been a MUA for over 5 years and is a freelancer. My boyfriend and I had a special occasion so I wanted my look to be dramatic and complete glam! You are looking at the pictures what do you think? I was extremely pleased with look for the evening!

*The more you practice applying your make up the better you will become.
*Your eyebrows are sisters not twins.
*When applying lipstick a lipliner will go along way
*Your brushes matter when applying makeup. It can be compared to eating soup. You can eat soup using a spoon and a fork. But the spoon will make it alot easier. The same goes for brushes. Your brushes can make or break your look.
