Crostini Base
- 1 pc French baguette, sliced ½-inch thick on a slight bias (20–24 pieces)
- 2½ tbsp extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- ½ tsp kosher salt, divided
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper, divided
Topping
- 5 oz fresh goat cheese, softened to room temperature (plain, not flavored)
- 6 oz fresh blackberries, large berries halved lengthwise
