3Last night, I had the chance to attend the Atlanta Eats second-year anniversary celebration at Bellwood Social House. If you didn’t know, I am a huge fan of Atlanta Eats!

Atlanta Eats is a 30-minute television program that airs every Saturday morning on the CBS network. Atlanta Eats showcases restaurants all over Atlanta. From Midtown to Buckhead to Downtown, they cover everywhere in Atlanta.

If it’s a new, hip restaurant, then it will be featured on Atlanta Eats. The television show is hosted by the Steak Shapiro. His awesome personality makes you wish that the show was longer than 30 minutes. We were celebrating three awesome accomplishments of Atlanta Eats last night.

First, we were celebrating the two-year anniversary of Atlanta Eats. Within the two years of being in Atlanta, Atlanta Eats has been the
go-to source for Atlantans.

This year, they’re going into their fifth season, and they have already covered over 100 restaurants in Atlanta.

The second reason for celebration is because Steak Shapiro is a judge on the new Food Network show, Food Truck Face Off. This show has four teams competing against each other for a chance to win their own food truck! How cool is that?! It will debut on October 2nd at 8 p.m. on the Food Network, so make sure to set your DVRs. Steak Shapiro will appear on every episode throughout the entire season.

Last, but not least, on October 5th, Atlanta Eats Live will take place on October 5th at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. The awesome food event will be hosted by Steak Shapiro and Mara Davis. Tickets range from $45 to $100. Over 30 restaurants will be participating this year.

This year, the live entertainment will be Yacht Rock Schooner. Not only will this be a fun and awesome event, but it will be for a great cause. This will be the second year that Atlanta Eats willl donate a portion of the proceeds to The Giving Kitchen. Last year, Atlanta Eats raised over $10,000 for this awesome cause. The Giving Kitchen provides crisis grants to members of Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.

I’m thrilled to say that the night was full of absolute fun!

Make sure to mark your calendars for October 2nd and October 5th. I hope to see you there!
